The art that is created today is how this time period will be viewed tomorrow. We want to make a difference in the lives of artists as well as a positive change in the world.

We are an online art gallery that can offer different benefits than a physical art gallery. We offer international exposure; works will be archived and can be viewed over and over, giving you constant exposure and building traffic to your website; there is no cost in transporting artwork and no risk of your work being damaged; and we are a commission free gallery!

Theme- "Human Nature" This show is all about the human figure and portrait as well as referring to the distinguishing characteristics of humans—including ways of thinking, feeling and acting—which humans tend to have naturally, independently of the influence of culture.

Pay It Forward- We will be donating 10% of all entry fees from this show to Your Safe Haven. YSH is a nonprofit agency, located in Bedford County, PA, that serves victims of all serious crimes and their families, including, but not limited to: domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, theft, homicide, robbery, physical assault, DUI related crimes, adult survivors of child sexual assault, etc. For more information, please visit their website http://www.yoursafehaven.org. Colors of Humanity is not affiliated with Your Safe Haven.

Eligibility- All artists 18 and over may enter.

Media- 2D works in all types of media

Judging Criteria- Originality, interpretation, quality, demonstration of ability, and usage of medium

Juror- Janelle Cogan

Entry Fee- $20 for 1 or 2 pieces (You may enter more than once if you have additional works.) 

Awards- Cash prizes will be given. Additionally, the "Best of Show" winner will be featured. His or her artwork will be on the cover of the show and it will be largely displayed with an article about them and their work. Other winners will be featured and have similar recognition. All accepted works will be displayed with the artist name, title of work, and a link back to their website, or email address if they do not have a website.

Sales- All sales are conducted solely between the artist and the buyer. Colors of Humanity Art Gallery does not handle any part of the sale or collect any commission.

Image Requirements:

- Image should not exceed 2MB.

- Image should be in jpeg format.

- Image should not contain any frame, mat, or watermark.

- Image should be labeled as LastName-FirstName-TitleofArt.jpeg

- Image should be clear and in focus, this represents your work and it will be displayed / judged the same way it is received.

Important Dates:

Deadline to submit work- March 15, 2021

Winners will be notified- on or before March 22, 2021

Opening date for show - April 1, 2021

Show closes and is archived - April 30, 2021
